Besides the usual light meals that you typically get at cafes, 3 Bags Full @ kota Damansara also offers a decent selection of mouth-watering, heavier mains. We were able to order from both the brunch/lunch and dinner menu during our visit.
Lobster Bisque (RM 13) is loaded with intense crustacean flavors, but just a tad too salty.
The Suffolk Salad (RM 27) has a myriad of elements – jelly fish, almond slivers, poached egg, avocado, arugula, tomatoes and a subtly nutty sesame dressing.
The garlic-y Squid Ink Spaghetti (RM 33) escalates to a whole new level with a punch from a bunch of deep-fried ginger shreds. The lobster though could have been firmer and crunchier in texture.
The Sheep in the House from the dinner menu (RM 57) is a gigantic portion with 4 pieces of lamb French cut lamb rib – enough for two small eaters to share. The lamb ribs are amazing with an explosion of flavors. From the lamb to the golden crispy crust, every mouthful is evidently herbaceous. The lamb is succulent and tender, despite being cooked almost well-done. I like my lamb ribs medium, but this Sheep in the House is still incredible anyway.
Other items on 3 Bags Full’s Brunch / Lunch menu include sandwiches, omelettes, various kinds of waffles and pastas. The Dinner menu include escargot, prawn platter, New Zeland tenderloin and black angus rib-eye. Peeping over to other people’s table, the granola parfait plated like a bowl of art, the white bait and the sizzling brownie (which I could totally smell and hear it sizzle) look really good to me too – for next time.
