Kea Farm is a mini Cameron Highlands, with the essence of Cameron Highlands all combined into one. Fruits, vegetables, tea, honey products, flowers, cactus, dried products and souvenirs. One of the best places for shopping.
Fresh produces are the most abundant here with irresistable strawberries, fruits and vegetables that scream “fresh, fresh, fresh!”
You can really find some good bargains, 16 packets for only RM10 !!
Rarer items like this – the “Cordyceps-look-alike”, are found here. I don’t think these are the real cordyceps as the real ones cost thousands of USD per kg and usually found in Tibet. The “cordyceps” also look too fresh because the forming process of cordyceps involve the fungus infection of living larvae, killing the larvae and mummifying it. So if it is really selling for RM 20 per kg, if would be long gone in the market before it even appears in Kea Farm. But they do make a nice ingredient for doubl-boiled soup.
You’ll see a bit of everything here, cactus,
chocolate coated fruits,
and lots of strawberry related souvenirs. A bit gawdy but kids love them!
Address: near Brinchang Town, Cameron Highlands.
