Cafe Gaby is at a Y junction on the main road of central Lourmarin. There is also 2 other cafes surrounding the junction – Cafe De L’Ormeau and Cafe De La Fontaine. Sitting at any of these cafes makes it a great place to chill and watch the world go by you.
Food wise, I took the omelette sandwich. Although I’ve almost gotten used to the fact that they put french fries in wraps and sandwiches, like the wraps at King Falafel Palace in Paris, and at Doner Kebab in Apt Market, seeing the combination of french fries and omelette was still a bit quirky to me. Thought the sandwich was rather blend.
I liked Gary’s roast chicken (12 euros) much better than my sandwich. The chicken was peppery and delectable with flavorsome gravy and the peas were hot.
Our meals came with French bread and simple salad.
