Babi Guling Pak Dobiel @ Bali, Indonesia

When you are in Bali, Babi Guling is the one food that you absolutely must try.  You can’t leave Bali without trying because it’s pretty much equivalent to visiting Penang and not eating char koay teow.  The ubiquitous babi guling, or roast suckling pig, is commonly found in small stalls known as “warung”.  The most famous one would be Ibu Oka in Ubud, popularised by Anthony Bourdain when he did a TV show on it. Soong Kee Beef Noodles @ Chinatown, KL

Soong Kee Beef noodles has been around for a long long time.  Imagine my friend of almost 60 years old says that he’s been eating at Soong Kee since he was in high school.  That’s at least 40 years there !
