The Hua Hin Railway Station is one of the oldest in Thailand built in the 1920’s.  In mellow shades of cream and red, the station is also dubbed the most beautiful station in Thailand.  The architecture was built in Thai-Victorian style very similar to the one used to build the Maruekatayawan Palace (Palace of Love and Hope).

The station is still functional today with trains running between Bangkok and Hua Hin that takes about 4 hours each way.

The small building that’s just beside the railway track was once the waiting room for the royalties of Thailand.  The royalties built their palaces in Hua Hin – Maruekatayawan Palace and  Klai Kan Won Palace, and often visited during the summer.

The royal waiting room is more “glamorous” than the train station with the extra details and the additional touch of yellow.

Some of the older trains are no longer functional and used as display instead.

The railway station is located centrally within Hua Hin and also one of the rare places with a nostalgic charm.  Do visit if you love historical buildings 🙂

Yeah, maybe one day I will visit Hua Hin. Because the last time I passed by the town, it looks really attractive for me. As if the town is calling me “come visit me~”. Hahaha
