I didn’t take too many photos of Alpine Rose Motel as at the time, I wasn’t planning on blogging about my travel. I did manage to take a photo of our welcoming flower – the green towel-flower!
And a few shots of the owner’s very cute dog.
You can take a look at the photos on their website to get a feel of how the rooms and the surrounding area look like. The photos do look a little nicer on the website most probably because they were professionally done, but the photos do represent their rooms very well.
The motel is conveniently located on the main street in Greymouth. There is a supermarket, a gas station, a hospital and many restaurants nearby. Once you see the sign that tells you to turn into Greymouth, just keep driving on the road, and the motel will be on your right hand side. You won’t miss this classy red and white compound. You can also find plenty of parking when you arrive at the compound.
We took the access studio which had a kichenette. The studio was spacious, well maintained with all aspects of the studio spotless clean. With the electric blanket on the comfortable bed, heater in the room, heat lamps in the bathroom, the whole studio was nice and warm. With the convenience and the comfortness, we enjoyed our stay at Alpine Rose Motel.
Rates vary from NZD 107 – 155 depending on the size of the room.
