Taiwan Itinerary – Taipei & Hualien in 8 Days.


Taipei is the top destination to travel to Taiwan.  It is easy to go around in Taipei with the MRT, exploring the splendor of the city.  For a different kind of experience, it  is also worthwhile to travel Hualien, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.  The itinerary covers tourist attractions,  places to eat, accommodation in Taipei & Hualien and a pre-wedding photo shoot.

Day 1 – Arrival

in Taiwan.
Check in Neijiang Hotel.
Tea @ Yongfu Fuzhou Style Fish Balls Restaurant nearby.
Visit Red House, Ximending,
Visit Taipei 101 and Xinyi shopping district.
Dinner at Sanji Ramen, ATT 4 Fun.

Day 2
Visit National Palace Museum.
Appointment with Ivy Bridal for choosing gowns, discussion with photographer and make-up artist.  Dinner provided by Ivy Bridal.

Day 3
Full day pre-wedding photo shoot at various locations including Bopiliao Old Street, Tatung University, Tatun Flower Farm, Shimen Wedding Plaza and Linshan Cape.

Day 4
Visit Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall.
Shop @ Nan Men Market for local produce.
Visit Presidential Office Building and 228 Memorial Peace Park.
Dinner @ Sky Turns Red Restaurant, Authentic Taiwanese cuisine .

Day 5
Travel by Taroko Express to Hualien.
Check in “minsu” City Corner .
Visit Ching Xiu Temple,
Liyu Lake,
Lichuan Aquafarm,
Lu Fung Jade Workshop, |
Lintian Mountain Forestry Center.
Tea @ Famous must-eats live jumping shrimps and Manmei pork knuckle.
Dinner at Tze Chiang Night Market (I).

Day 6
Visit Chishingtan.
Cycle through Taroko Gorge.  Photo gallery here.
Visit Nanbin Night Market.
Dinner @ Tze Chiang Night Market (II).

Day 7
Whale/dolphin Tour.
Lunch @ Gongzheng xiaolongbao and Yixin Bubble Ice – famous “must-eats” of Hualien.
Travel back to Taipei.
Appointment with Ivy Bridal to choose photos.

Day 8
Breakfast – Pan-fried meat buns.
Lunch @ Taoyuen International Airport.
Dessert @ Taoyuen International Airport – Godiva chocolixir.
Travel home.
